FEARING ORGIES

the comfort of towns

is the rape of the world

Sex is glass in the heart...

and Gehenna is not eternity

but everywhere and now.

To be human is to be world-
destroyingly disabled:

we are flies'
eggs
in heaven's
eyes.

July 9th, 2000

A young bear is forced to stand on the side of a hot dusty road
just outside the Indian capital, Delhi.

He was snatched from his mother in the wild
when he was a small, defenceless cub.
His teeth and nails were ripped out.
A red-hot needle was forced through his nose
and a rough thick cord has been threaded through.

The wound never heals, it bleeds constantly
and is prone to life-threatening infection
(which might put him out of his misery).

He has been forced to walk on hot coals.
He is starved and beaten.

When a luxury coach passes and his trainer pulls the rope
he "dances".

Dances!
For tourists.

For civilisation.
For
humanity.
